Tbh I dont believe people are born trans I do believe (like with all things) there is some correlation of genetic disposition

In isolation you can teach someone tobe almost anything

so it is genetically predisposed

I don't think we have the right sorts of controlled environments to say anything like that

in isolation you cannot teach anyone to be anything as you cannot communicate with them

People are raised around gender norms right from birth essentially always

Yes And when people are young they make connections extremely rapidly So that is when i assume gender identity forms

It's very difficult to pick out what would've been the case without the environment the world generally exists in

I feel like if there was good science on that, there wouldn't be so much debate about trans-dom

3 is when the brain makes the most connectionc

to actually grasp gender norms/social norms (not just follow them from reinforcement) you need theory of mind

Well thats interesting to me

At least for ~5 of my close friends I've known who struggled with gender identity in the past

It sounds half true to me But im unsure and know not much about this topic

It definitely hit them at the start of their teens

Wasn’t there that study in like the 50s where an amab individual was brought up as a girl from birth because of an issue regarding circumcision and it ended up very poorly for the individuals mental health and they ended up “transitioning” to a man anyways
